Obituary from the Kenyon, MN Leader, 23 Feb 1924:

Mrs. A. O. Iverson, formerly of Kenyon, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. C. O. Stocke, at Minneapolis Monday, February 18th, 1924.
Mrs. Iverson's maiden name was Thea Søgaard, and she was born in Ødemark, Norway, August 23, 1841, hence she was more than eight-two years at the time of her death. She came to America in 1870 and on January 9, 1872, was married to Anders Olaus Iverson, then of Faribault, Minnesota. Mr. Iverson and his wife came to Kenyon in the spring of 1874 and resided here conti;nually until four years ago, when they moved to Minneapolis to make their home with the daughter mentioned above. Mr. Iverson passed away after they moved to Minneapolis, namely June 9th, 1920.
The deceased was one of the old type of mothers and homemakers and her activities were most closely connected with her home and family. Both she and her husband were devoted to the work of their church and were identified with the activities of the local congregation to which they belonged, the First Evangelical Lutheran Church. Coming here in the seventies they were among the pioneers of this community and were exemplary citizens, respected by all who knew them.

Mrs. Iverson passed away in implicit faith in the Master of the church as her personal Savior.
Four sons and two daughters live after her as follows: Mrs. C. O. Stocke, Minneapolis; Miss Mary Iverson, Minneapolis; N. C. Iverson, Excelsior, Minnesota; C. M. Iverson, Minneapolis, Minnesota; John B. Iverson, Seattle, Washington; Hans M. Iverson, Venice, California. Fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren also live after her.
The remains of the deceased were brought to Kenyon for burial and services took place at 1:00 o'clock Thursday afternoon of this week in the First Evangelical Lutheran church. Rev. N. Okerlund, pastor of Hauge's Lutheran church, of this village, sister congregation, conducted the services in the absence of the regular pastor of the congregation to which the deceased belonged. Interment was made in Kenyon cemetery.
From away the following were present at the funeral: Miss Mary Iverson, Mr. and Mrs. C. O. Stocke and children, Alice, Harold, Arnold and Oswald, and C. M. Iverson, of Minneapolis; N. C. Iverson, of Excelsior, Minnesota; Mrs. Curtis R. Martin, of Waconia, Minnesota; Martin Iverson, of Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Obituary from the Kenyon, MN Leader, 19 June 1920:

Anders Olaus Iverson, who only two weeks ago moved to Minneapolis to make his home with his oldest daughter, passed away at that place on Wednesday, June 9th.
He was born in Norway, Europe, May 8th, 1846, emigrated to America in 1870 and was united in marriage to Miss Thea Sogaard in 1871. He was a resident of this village for the past fifty years and one of the old settlers. Mr. Iverson was engaged in the shoe business here for many years, at one time in partnership with his brother, the late H. C. Iverson. He has been a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran church here ever since it was organized and was one of its incorporators. He also served as trustee for many years and Sunday school superintendent. Mr. Iverson was a man of a quiet disposition but will be missed greatly by everyone in this place. He was honest and upright in all his dealings. A very conscientious man, and above all, an earnest Christian, who worked for the church and that which was good. He was a regular church goer and his place there will seem empty for some time.

His illness he bore with patience and never uttered a word of complaint. He was content to go and expressed the wish to his dear ones who were about his bedside that they would all meet him in Heaven. It would seem now that when he had retired from active life and had been provided with such a comfortable home, his children had hoped the rest would improve his health so that he could have lived with them a few years more, but God knew best and released his tired body from pain and sorrow and promoted him to a place in Heaven, where the tired wanderers find eternal rest and peace.
He leaves to mourn him, his wife, six children, an aged mother who is 97 years old and a brother, August, of Richland, and sister, Mrs. Juliana Thompson, of this place. The children are: Mrs. C. O. Stocke, Miss Mary and Nels Iverson, all of Minneapolis; John B. of Seattle, Washington; Conrad, of Deming, New Mexico; and Hans, who lives in Arizona.
Funeral services were held here Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock conducted by his pastor, Rev. S. O. Simundson, and interment was made in Kenyon cemetery.
